In this application, Machine Vision Polarizing Filters are used to reduce glare during inspection of a metal stent that is producing uneven light. Using a MidOpt® PR032 Linear Polarizer in conjunction with a MidOpt BP635 Light Red Bandpass Filter, produces excellent results in eliminating the glare while darkening the background, making the specific feature of the part clear and ready for inspection.
