Filters for Laser Applications

In response to the many emerging laser-based applications in industrial imaging, including 3-D Metrology, Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy and Cytometry, MidOpt® offers a collection of optical filters designed for laser applications. These laser filters provide clear results in eliminating unwanted laser background light and laser scattering effects.

In addition, MidOpt® also offers filters designed to work with next generation laser diode lighting to help to better optimize the signal-to-noise ratio and help to reject other unwanted noise in applications that utilize these light sources. 

Filters for Blue Laser applications

Because of their shorter wavelength, Blue Lasers allow for greater focus and resolution in imaging applications. Common applications include 3D scanners and metrology applications, laser printers, data recording and consumer electronics. Blue lasers operate at 445nm.

Green light lasers are quickly becoming the most common type of laser in use. Green laser light is much brighter than red light lasers. These lasers operate at a wavelength of 532nm.
