MidOpt® Longpass Filters pass a broad spectrum of longer wavelength light while blocking shorter wavelengths and are an economical solution for isolating specific spectral regions. These filters offer a peak transmission ≥90%, and are anti-reflection coated for maximum transmission in VIS and NIR spectrums.

Common Applications
MidOpt® Longpass Optical Filters are beneficial in fluorescence applications that require blocking of an excitation light source. They are also useful in passing multiple emission wavelengths and improving signal to noise ratio.
Longpass Filters are also used in SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) imaging to improve contrast in InGaAs camera images, as well as in photography and astronomy applications.
