MidOpt® Diffusers should be an essential part of your machine vision tool kit. They are made out of translucent material and can be placed directly over the light source.
Both acrylic and glass diffusers are available and come in varying thicknesses and transmissivity, as well as custom sizes and shapes to fit all types of lighting. Common diffuser types include ground glass, molded/textured acrylic, thin plastic film, flashed or solid opal glass, molded/textured glass and diffractive diffusers.
MidOpt® Diffusers are designed for use in Machine Vision. They produce excellent results in reducing the sharpness of shadows and can also greatly reduce harsh, unwanted glare by delivering light that is both spread out and uniform.
